Paris, France - Day 2 - Sacre Coeur
Sacre Coeur is a church located at the top of Montemartre. It has a spectacular view, showing the layout of the entire city. Construction of the Sacre Coeur began in the 1870's on the initiative of the Catholic Church to atone for the "crimes" of the commune. These crimes may be related to the fact that Pigalle (the sex district) is located at the bottom of the hill.
