Paris, France - Day 2 - Gare Saint Lazare Train Station
This is the first Parisian railway station, initially constructed in 1837. It was
later rebuilt in the early 1840's and again in the early 1850's, which added
five metal structure covered halls.
The station is in use today and quite active, with trains heading to Normandy and
Great Britain, among other destinations.
The structure itself is an example of Victorian era architecture, and was immortalized
in 1877 when Claude Monet created the masterpiece, "Gare Saint-Lazare".
